SUSTAINABLE SCIENCE +
Courses: 3rd ESO B and C / 4th ESO A and B
Teacher: Mª Paz Ayúcar
The French course is not limited to the presentation of a linguistic system, but based on the improvement of linguistic competence, it offers students the possibility of acquiring both other basic skills and deepening in cross-curricular subjects that allow them to exercise not only intellectual capacities but also also and essentially their affective and motor capacities, their capacities for interpersonal relationship and social insertion.
The aim is for adolescents to put into practice through these matters their critical judgment in relation to problems and social, personal or relationship conflicts, to then be able, in the face of these, to have attitudes and behaviors based on in rational and freely assumed values.
Among the different cross-cutting themes, we highlight the need to respect the environment by reflecting on the role that different types of natural environments play in the ecological balance of our planet and the situations that may have adverse consequences for it. Such reflection constitutes a call to attention to the students about these situations caused by man and harmful to him and that it is necessary to correct, in order to awaken in them a greater ecological awareness.
COMMENT LIMITER L´IMPACT NÉGATIF DES ACTIVITÉS DE L´HOMME SUR SON ENVIRONNMENT.
To this end, a project is carried out each year with 4th ESO students in which the main dangers facing the environment are analyzed. After an analysis of the causes of the growing environmental deterioration, the students propose attitudes that protect the world in which they themselves live.
A MONDE À VÉLO
In this same line of work and taking advantage of the study of the expression of comparison in French, the 3rd year ESO students carry out a comparative work on the different means of transport and propose the use of bicycles as an alternative ecological means to come to the Institute.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS
Our 4th year ESO students have become "green patrols" for a few days, detecting the environmental problems that most affect our center and our neighborhood. But that has not been all, they have taken a step further. They have raised their voices and have presented possible solutions to them, both small gestures that are in everyone's hands and proposals to our authorities. Together we can achieve a better world.
