THE SCIENCE CORNER
How can we create snow inside our houses? How do we get the coins to look like new again? Or how will we manage to make toothpaste for elephants? Browse this digital board where you can discover how to carry it out thanks to the experience of the "scientific students" of 1 ° ESO B. They have experienced it and explained to us in English how to achieve it in detail.
COME UP TO PARTICIPATE AND SHARE YOUR EXPERIMENT WITH US! YOU JUST HAVE TO UPLOAD IT TO THIS DIGITAL BOARD .

SCIENTIFIC WOMAM FROM HISTORY: MARIE CURIE
The students of 1º ESO D, 1º ESO B and 1º ESO C , to celebrate the Day of Women and Girls in Science , have worked on Bilingual subjects with their teachers Mar Moreda and Elena Léon and with the collaboration of our L anguage Assistant, Emily Hamill, an English text on the life of Marie Curie, or na scientist in history who won two Nobel prizes. Finally, we end with some vignettes with the illustration of the scientist, which we use as decoration.

MISSION X. TRAIN LIKE AN ASTRONAUT
Mission X: Train like an astronaut, is an international education challenge from the European Space Agency (ESA), focused on fitness and nutrition and whose purpose is to encourage students to train like an astronaut.
Our center has joined the Mission X challenge with the 2nd A and 2nd B courses of ESO, carrying out the mission task "Building an Astronaut's Core" on February 22nd and 24th.
To maintain muscle strength while in space, astronauts practice core strengthening exercises before, during, and after their missions.
In this first mission we joined the challenge and performed a series of specific exercises, The Commander Crunch and the Pilot Plank, to improve the strength of the abdominal muscles and the back muscles, the main muscle groups of the Core.
The activity was carried out with the invaluable help of our language assistant Emily Hamill.

EXPOSITION
ANIMALS
Did you know that giraffes sleep around two hours a day? And that elephants are excellent swimmers despite their 3.5 tons of weight? Have you ever heard that the night vision of tigers is six times sharper than that of the human being or that an adult leopard can reach a speed of 120 km per hour?
Scientists have managed to identify around 7 million different animal species with which we share the planet. There are many curious facts about our neighbors that we can learn from the 1st ESO B students. Come and discover them!
